Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof belongs to the largest department store group in Germany and the second largest in Europe. Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof has more than 200 large department stores in the central industrial areas of German cities. We have been responsible for the operation of the SNS/Wechat Official Account and Twitter-like/Weibo Account for Galeria Kaufhof since 2017, which has significantly improved awareness of the Galeria Kaufhof brand among the Chinese, especially among Chinese tourists. This resulted in a significant increase in the revenue from Chinese tourists at Galeria Kaufhof.
The “Wechat Shake & Find” project

In 2019, we implemented and successfully operated the “WeChat Shake n’ Find” project in the top five branches of Galeria Kaufhof in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and Dresden. With the help of the “WeChat Shake n’ Find” function, WeChat users can quickly receive a large amount of information such as the product location, current advertising information and additional services from the department store in Chinese language on their mobile phones. This function provides great convenience to Chinese tourists when they are shopping thus in return, effectively promotes the sales performance of Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof.
